Welcome to the Mighty Southern Region

Greetings Sorors, Amicae, Youth, and visitors!
It is my distinct honor and pleasure to welcome you to our Web site. I extend my heartfelt greetings to you as you learn about our community events, chapter & auxiliary updates, and state news from Louisiana to Texas. In 1929, Soror Roberta Bell Sims caught the gleam of a vision and organized the “Mighty“ Southern Region. We are extremely proud of our rich heritage. For more than eighty years, we have committed ourselves to our founding principles of sisterly love, service, scholarship and finer womanhood.

Change is in the air as we continue to demonstrate an interest in serving the changing needs in the communities where we live and serve. We want to raise the bar as we become a beacon of light for others as AMBASSADORS OF HOPE― loving, serving, and giving of ourselves, spreading the word “IN THE TRADITION“ of who we are, what we want and where we are going.

As we start a new sorority year, let us CONNECT and FOCUS on the FUTURE as LIFETIME PARTNERS as we join our INTERESTS, TIME, TALENTS, RESOURCES and SKILLS together to affect positive change. We want to CELEBRATE the legacy of our sisterhood by STANDING TOGETHER, WORKING TOGETHER and SERVING TOGETHER as we provide programs and projects to benefit our society.

As you visit our Web site, I want to pass on my enthusiastic expressions of loving, giving, and serving. PASS IT ON.

Enjoy browsing our Web site!
